Grund genug, sich extra für´s Köln Comedy Festival als Showmaster eines neuen Talkshow-Formats zu versuchen: Dem „Kaffeeklatsch mit Sensationen“. Angeblich werden Gäste mit hohem Bekanntheitsgrad erwartet. Richtige Burner und Rampensäue mit Esprit und Charme. Aber bestätigt ist das noch nicht. Stattdessen gibt es Gerüchte darüber, dass Comedy-Autorin Andrea Volk ihr neues Buch „Auf den Hengst gekommen“ präsentieren will, obwohl der Moderator strikt dagegen ist. Ebenso soll Nina Knecht wohl auftauchen: Eine Pianistin, die zusammen mit dem Publikum singen will. Auch das noch! Torsten Schlosser: „Das ist doch Käse! Eine solche Show möchte ich eigentlich nicht machen. Das sind alles Themen, die mich langweilen. Ich lege alles daran, die Gästeliste noch abzuändern.“ Bühne frei für Kaffee, Klatsch und Klüngel.

Geography
By city council action in October 2001 (C.F. #01-1874), "Magnolia Square" was officially named and designated as being bounded by the following streets: Century Boulevard on the north, South Vermont Avenue on the west, the Harbor Freeway (I-110) on the east, and Imperial Highway on the south.

The Department of Transportation was instructed to install signage at the following intersections: Figueroa Street at 109th Place, Figueroa at 99th Street, Century Boulevard at Grand Avenue, and Imperial Highway at Vermont Avenue.

History
Beginning in 2000, the Eighth District Empowerment Congress began working on the "Naming Neighborhoods Project" to identify and name individual communities that had historically been grouped together and regarded as part of South Central Los Angeles.

The first focus group was held at Hebrew Union College in June 2000. Through research, a meeting with an urban historian, and numerous community meetings, the Empowerment Congress ultimately outlined sixteen unique neighborhoods, including the neighborhood of Magnolia Square. The names were submitted to City Council in October 2001 and approved in February 2002.

Magnolia Square lies within Los Angeles City Council District 8.[3]

The neighborhood of Magnolia Square is split between two neighborhood councils: the Empowerment Congress Southeast Area Neighborhood Council serves Magnolia Square residents Century Boulevard and 110th Street [4][5] and the Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council serves the area between 110th Street and Imperial Boulevard. [6][7]

Wenn der Islam nicht zu Deutschland gehört, Ostwestfalen aber schon, wohin gehört dann ein in Bielefeld geborener Rheinländer mit türkischen Wurzeln?

Die Antwort auf diese Frage ist ein Spagat, den Özgür Cebe jeden Tag praktizieren muss. Das tut weh. Und wenn es weh tut, hilft nur eins: Sich locker machen. Mit Selbstironie und pointierter Beobachtung entwaffnet Cebe alle Scharfmacher durch pure Gelassenheit. Wie man sich mit Humor integrieren kann, davon kann Özgür Cebe ein Lied singen. Und tut dies auch.

1994 begann Cebe eine Hospitanz im Theater an der Ruhr. Unter der Leitung von Roberto Ciulli spielte er erste Rollen, die ihn auf Tourneen nach Italien und Schweden führten. Er absolvierte eine überbetriebliche Ausbildung zum IT-Systemkaufmann und begann im letzten Ausbildungsjahr eine zusätzliche Ausbildung zum Schauspieler, die er mit der Bühnenreife abschloss. Zwei Jahre lang gehörte er zum festen Ensemble in Kaya Yanars Sendung "Was guckst du?!". Außerdem sieht man ihn häufig in TV-Serien wie der "Lindenstraße" und "Alarm für Cobra 11". Im Kinofilm Reset gab er sein Debüt als Hauptdarsteller.

Am 6. September 2009 wurde Özgür Cebet erstmals öffentlich zum Stand-up Comedian. Der Kabarettist Jürgen Becker war so begeistert, dass er ihn in das Panel seiner WDR-Sendung "Baustelle Deutschland" nahm. Und zuletzt war Cebe noch bei einer ganz besonderen Premiere dabei: Jürgen Becker moderierte "Kabarett am Minarett" in Deutschlands größter Moschee in Duisburg-Marxloh. Das Ereignis fand großes Medienecho. Der Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger schrieb in einer Kritik: "Höhepunkt des Abends war zweifelsohne der Auftritt von Özgür Cebe". 2014 trat er erstmals bei Bündnis 90/Die Grünen auf dem politischen Aschermittwoch auf.

In seinem Programm nahm der Wahlkölner auch das Hanfverbot in die Mangel. Er selbst profitiere von der grünen Medizin, denn er konnte mit Hilfe von Hanf seine Krebserkrankung überwinden! Aber nicht nur in der Medizin hält er ein Umdenken für nötig. "Es ist eine Schande, das Millionen von Menschen sich legal mit Alkohol berauschen dürfen, harmlose Cannabiskonsumenten jedoch immer noch kriminalisiert werden, ihre Führerscheine verlieren und im schlimmsten Fall im Gefängniss landen." Seine Kritik richtet sich im Programm auch an die Bundesdrogenbeauftrage Marler Mortler, stolze Besitzerin mehrerer Hopfenfeldern, die am Verbot festhalten möchte und für Cannabispatienten nur das nötigste tut. Auf der DINAFEM-Bühne hat Özgür "Ötze" Cebe mit Humor auf die Ungerechtigkeit des Hanfverbots aufmerksam gemacht.

Following a family announcement of her brother’s betrothal to a parentally approved Iranian prize catch, Shirin embarks on a private rebellion involving a series of pansexual escapades, while trying to decipher what went wrong with Maxine.

Iranian-American filmmaker Desiree Akhavan is the co-creator and star of the award-winning web series The Slope, a comedy that follows a pair of superficial homophobic lesbians in love. She was recently featured as one of Filmmaker Magazine's 25 New Faces of Film as well as Vanity Fair's "Persia in New York" featuring the vibrant scene of Iranian artists flourishing in America, centered in New York. Akhavan can be seen next January on the fourth season of HBO's Girls.
