How China Is Destroying The Mekong River
Cut off from the rest of the world for thirty years, Laos has slowly opened up to tourism at the beginning of the 2000s.
The country has many unique treasures to offer, ones that are rarely found anywhere else. There, you can wander in a primary forest, meet the last specimens of gibbons, and be awed by the city of 32 temples.
But Laos culture and environment are very fragile. And only a responsible form of tourism will ensure its preservation.
From the film: “Laos - Along the Mekong” from the collection “Green Paradise”
Direction: Jean Froment
Production: MAHA, What's up Films & ARTE G.E.I.E
