Bodycam DUI Arrest - 18-Year-Old Woman Arrested for DUI with Three 17-Year-Old Male Passengers

On February 24, 2024, Miami Township Police Officer Ryan observed a vehicle crossing over the marked lane lines painted on the road. He initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the 18-year-old woman behind the wheel was driving three male juvenile passengers to a home for the night. The police report indicates that Officer Ryan detected a heavy odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the vehicle. The woman was asked to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was eventually arrested for DUI and was transported to the Miami Township police station, where she submitted to an evidential breath test. The result was 0.057% BAC, which is greater than the 0.02% limit for someone under 21 years of age in Ohio. She was released about an hour later to the custody of her father.
