This is one of the largest lizards in the world, can reach a length of 3-4 meters and weigh about 70-90 kg. This species is famous for its sharp teeth and venom, along with its relatively skilled hunting ability. Komodo dragons usually hunt by approaching their prey underground, usually large animals such as deer, buffalo, or wild boar. They approach their prey slowly and carefully so as not to frighten it.One of the unique things about the way Komodo dragons hunt is that they have venom in their tongues. When they bite their prey, the venom will cause endocrine bleeding and make the prey gradually lose its resistance. The Komodo dragon will monitor its prey for several days until it is exhausted or infected.Komodo dragons have the ability to wait for a long time until their prey becomes weak. After their prey is exhausted, they will come closer and start eating. Komodo dragons can eat large amounts of meat in one meal, and can even swallow small bones.Komodo dragons' noses are very sensitive and help them track the scent of prey from afar.
