Dogs are they man's best friend? That statement has been said hundreds of thousands of times to the point where we just take it at face value. We accepted dogs are man's best friend without any hesitation. First let's take a closer look at what is a best friend before we go any further. Best friend is a person you will think of when you are in a time of need.
Someone you will call when things are not going very well for you and you need their ear or need their advice as to what you should do. Best friend is also someone you can call on just to be with without any conversation at all, because you can relate to one another. This is what a best friend is in our human relationships.
What the difference between dogs and humans as to how we can become best friends? What is it that these animals dogs provide that we can count on them to provide when we need their companionship? Dogs as your best friend, well a dog can listen to you vent your frustrations lending their ear.
Dogs can be there when you need companionship. Dogs will be there for you when you are on top of the world and everything is going great. Also dogs will be there for you when everything is not so great. Rich or poor, up or down, sickness or health the dog is your friend and will be there when you are in need of companionship. Some believe that dogs are more faithful to you than your human counterparts are.

Asked yourself this questions, will your friend do this for you lay, down their life for you? Then asked yourself will a dog lay down its life for you?
